Running The Sledge
The Sledge is very buoyant and has a very distinct side to side and nose dive action. Fast pulls or jerks will tend to make the lure run shallow. A slow to medium jerk will allow the lure to run deeper. The best results achieved for lure action and hook setting power have been with a medium to heavy Jerk Bait Rod. High speed trolling the Sledge has also been proven successful.
